It can be done in both adults and children. The ear has a constant growth from birth to 6 to 7 years. <\/p>\n<p>In children, it is preferred to perform this surgery after this age not to alter the growth of the ears, and, in turn, it is the period in which the teasing of their classmates begins at school, there being the greater awareness of this anatomical variant.
