I am a Medical Doctor, Resident Physician –Division of Plastic Surgery, The Ottawa Hospital, University of Ottawa, Canada.

I am a highly-skilled International Medical Graduate with remarkable academic credentials and extensive relevant experience as a general practitioner and a specialist in hand, maxillofacial, and plastic surgery in my home country of Colombia. I have been an assistant professor, and I have taught residents, medical students and healthcare professionals. In Canada, I have significant experience as a surgical safety analyst.

My professional objective is to improve my knowledge of medicine and practice in Canada, so I am training to be a plastic surgeon at the University of Ottawa – The Ottawa Hospital.
