Casa Cataño Rios is an organization that supports the community in rural and urban areas of Maceo, Antioquia, Colombia.
We have worked since 2022 to support the young population with the issues of the public policy of the municipality to participate in the development of political plans that affect the community. In addition, the school supplies donation campaign for school students in the urban and rural regions was carried out in January 2023, benefiting 150 children.

The Mission of Hope is one of the social programs of Fundación Las Américas. It has benefited more than 400 patients, mostly low-income children, to regain hand and upper limb mobility. During the Mission of Hope, free surgeries are performed on children and adults. Doctors from various countries have participated in the Mission, always led by Dr. Caroline Leclercq from France and Dr. Gallego, the medical director from Colombia. I volunteered in the presurgical evaluation, surgery and follow-up.

IQ Interquirofanos, aware of the significant commitment it has to society and those who are the country’s future, managed the start of a Social Responsibility program by conducting a surgical day for children from low socioeconomic levels that required surgical intervention. I volunteered in the presurgical evaluation, surgery and follow-up in 2012 and 2013. The aim was to return the smile and improve the quality of life of the children of the department of Antioquia through surgical sessions.
